Reports indicate that AI data centers consume significant amounts of water. Data center servers should be cooled using closed-loop technology. The central govt should urge major PSUs & PVT sector heavy electrical engineering companies to establish the necessary infrastructure for this purpose. Facilities must be created to enable AI data centers to operate using renewable energy. Since the country's major cities are located along the coast, arrangements should be made to supply the water required for AI data centers through seawater desalination. The central govt should issue guidelines to state govts regarding this matter. There are reports from abroad about the recycling and use of household "greywater"; the potential for implementing similar practices here should be explored. The public needs to perceive AI data centers as drivers of national growth. A special fund should be created to develop the necessary infrastructure for recycling the water used in semi conductor manufacturing

As a teacher, I see Artificial Intelligence (AI) and semiconductor technology as powerful tools for transforming education. AI can help teachers understand the individual learning needs of every child and provide personalized learning activities, worksheets, feedback and remedial support. Smart devices powered by semiconductors can make classrooms more interactive through digital boards, educational apps, sensors and innovative learning tools. In primary education, these technologies can make learning more joyful, experiential and inclusive, while encouraging curiosity, creativity, problem-solving and self-learning. AI can also reduce teachers’ routine workload, allowing us to spend more time interacting with children and supporting their emotional and academic development. At the same time, I believe technology should remain a tool in the hands of a teacher, not a replacement for the teacher. Children must be guided to use AI responsibly, critically and ethically. So adopt both wisely

AI and semiconductor technologies can create new opportunities by combining intelligent software with advanced hardware. One promising area is AI-enabled semiconductor manufacturing, where AI can optimize chip design, production processes, energy consumption and quality control. AI can also support predictive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, detect manufacturing defects through computer vision, and improve supply-chain planning. In India, these technologies can help build a stronger semiconductor ecosystem by improving manufacturing efficiency, reducing resource wastage and developing skilled technical talent. Another opportunity is the development of energy-efficient AI chips designed for applications in agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics and smart infrastructure. Combining India's engineering talent, AI capabilities and semiconductor manufacturing can enable innovative solutions for both domestic and global markets.

AI Accelerating Silicon Design and Fabrication Algorithmic Floorplanning: Reinforcement learning models are compressing chip layout and routing times from months to mere hours. These models optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) with a spatial awareness that often surpasses human engineering teams. Predictive Yield Optimization: Inside the fab, AI-driven computer vision and predictive analytics analyze petabytes of metrology data to detect microscopic wafer anomalies in real-time, drastically reducing defect rates and minimizing costly equipment downtime. Digital Twins: Virtual, AI-powered replicas of physical fabrication plants allow operators to simulate supply chain disruptions, equipment upgrades, and node transitions safely in a digital environment before executing them in the cleanroom.

There is immense global interest in the development of Artificial Intelligence and semiconductor manufacturing. India should not merely focus on these areas but must also show interest in alternatives and emerging technologies such as Photonic Computing, Carbon Nanotubes & Graphene, Neuromorphic Chips, Quantum Computing, Biocomputing & DNA Data Storage, AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), and Event-Driven or Causal AI. The government should provide incentives to companies working in these fields. India must also attract entities seeking alternatives to current AI and semiconductor technologies. Governments worldwide will inevitably begin to impose regulatory boundaries on AI development; therefore, India must pay equal attention to these associated technologies.
