The gov can solve financial crisis on a long term basis by: 1)Constructing Small office buildings(10 storeys) and Large office building (30 storeys) and renting them for lease. Also opening up Shopping malls in various towns and renting them will add revenue to the gov. It has dual purpose as it contributes to infrastructure and creates job opportunities.

Every year before commencement of M.Tech./Ph.D. classes, this institution should ask industry about the challenges and problems they would like to solve. These problems should be divided into two categories. First category consists of problems that can be solved within six months/one year research. Second category consists of problems that can be solved within three years/four years. Now, these problems should be floated to universities or group of universities working in tandem.

Today problem with scientific institutions including IITs is that they don’t have problem statement to work on. This represents divorce of academic institutions and industry. A central high level panel/institution should be constituted which act as nodal centre between industry and academic institutions.

Respected Sir, UGC and AICTE have failed in their duties to keep the quality of higher education upbeat. As you have taken stand on replacing Planning Commission, Please do replace UGC and AICTE with a robust institution. An institution on lines of ‘Office of Research Integrity in the US’ should be established to upbeat the skillful research and development in India.
