Ujjain has been shortlisted under the Government of India Flagship Program of Smart City Mission. In the First round of Smart City Challenge, Ujjain has secured 21st place and has just missed the first batch of 20 selected Smart Cities. UMC is now preparing for 2nd round of Smart City Challenge and is aiming to be amongst the top cities. The city has also witnessed a mega event of Simhasth and while preparation of the same the city has upgraded a lot since the time of round 1 smart city proposal. These developments has further insured the possibility of Ujjain to be among the top cities in round 2 of smart cities.

Citizen engagement at every stage is a crucial part of Smart City Proposal. For the purpose of upgradation of Smart City Proposal, UMC invites your valuable observations and suggestions on the submitted Round 1 Smart City Proposal. The citizens are requested to identify the Gaps in the old proposal based upon their understanding and also based upon MoUD guidelines and top 20 City proposals.

The inputs given by the citizens of Ujjain will be very valuable and will be a reason for success of Smart City Ujjain.
