Feed of railway station's display board may be feed to smart phones @ platform or within the certain range.An app may be design for this purpose.

for online ticketing in indian railway 1-telescopic ticket and reservation 2-boarding station change facility 3-extension of a ticket with or without reservation 4-cnversion of a ticket into higher class 5-lower birth quota should be increased 6-waiting ticket should be treated as a ticket

E-platform ticket with existing infrastructure- Railway should have tieup with mobile companies to collect revenue of platform ticket with the help of mobile application.

Major problem with train journey today is availability of confirmed reservation. However most of the time, one "manages" to travel on "a seat" in the end. This might happen through some "agent" or some "VIP Quota" or bribing TTE. This proves "demand and supply" do match 80-90%. The scarcity is created artificially by having so called "Quotas". this leads to not only discomfort to "aam admi" but opens up avenues for malpractices where there should be none. Recomendation - Abolish all "Quotas".

Respected Prime Minister Sri NARENDRABHAI MODIJI In most of the coaches the TTEs are not strict and checking properly. By this open ticket passengers are occupying the reserved berths. This brings loss to railways. Please take action to widen the entrance door in compartments . The present width is not sufficient to get " IN " and " OUT " . Run the trains in time. Attach more compartments in train and speed-up.

please try to check the callous attitude of the railway ticket vendors at the railway stations, more than half of the ticket counters remain vacant as employees either choose to gossip or remain absent and as a result passengers have to stand in queues for hours, if employees do their job sincerely it could have been done in few minutes instead of hours, I've experienced the same at the New Delhi railway station and please display a complaint number at the railway stations.

The IRCTC during Tatakl booking is working very fine now, but i want to bring your attention to the fact that agents are blocking the payment gateways hence common man cannot book the tickets online.
