Sir, recently i was travelling back home(kolkata) in the train PuriHwH express. I had an RAC ticket. the condition of the side lower berth was horrible. In the rail budget fares had been increased but no improvement in condition of the coaches.why? The journey was very uncomfortable. I am an engineering student from Bhubaneswar

Train food is very costly and the quality and quantity is very very poor. First of all foods are not keep in the hygenic place even the pantry car is very pathetic. Before serving the food to passengers they keep the food near the toilet. They charge ~Rs 70/plate which is not at all worthful. But when i spend the same amount in my city (Chennai) I will get very delicious, tasty and hygenic food. I can quote some of the good hotels in chennai (Sangeetha, Hot chips, Anandh Bhavan etc.)

Instead of launching BULLET trains , focus shud be on improving the existing trains. All single lines shud get doubled, atleast of the busy routes like Jammu-Howrah and Delhi -Dehradun routes.

recently i went to visakhapatnam railway station to receive my parents .train no was 18517 . it was surprised that no one announcing for 18517. i ask to railway enquiry regarding the same. they replied status is not clear.immediate my father called me. train reached to station.where r u ? this is the working condition of indian railway employees. complain system to be improoved and to be made more reliable.

ट्रेनों का सही समय पर संचलन नहीं होना। ट्रेनों में अत्यधिक विलम्ब। इसके कई बड़े कारणों में से एक अधिकारियों की लापरवाही भी हैं। कई बार सुनने को मिल जाता हैं की फलाना अधिकारी जाम में फस गया तो उसने ट्रेन आधे घंटे रुकवा दी। कई बार ड्राइवर गाड़ी छोड़ के चले जाते हैं तो कई बार कर्मचारी विलम्ब करवाते हैं। प्रति सेकण्ड भी महत्वपूर्ण हैं तो इस तरह की लापरवाही क्यूँ ? ट्रेनों में सही संचालन के लिए ३-४ सदस्यों का एक पैनल होना चाहिए जो सीधा केंद्रीय मंत्रालय को रिपोर्ट करें। और इनका काम सभी ट्रेनों के
