So if they give their identity always there will be a fear in their heart that their identity will be leaked to criminals by policemen.

3. Often we see that whenever Narcotics department catches something like opium, hashish, hemp, heroin etc. it falls under the local jurisdiction. We must start a different segment for it where only cases related to drugs, excise and illegal alcohol will be handled just like fast track courts.

4. The most important point we need to pay our attention is, there are only a few IAS officers who use their rights to punish a criminal or a guilty one. We just need to remind them what they can do. It will be better if the complete responsibility of the new segment will be given to the chief secretary of state or to the similar level person. Keeping the present scenario of UP and Bihar in mind, I would like to suggest that this segment should be under the direct supervision of president.

No other politician can interfere in its decision. And its decision can only be challenged in Supreme Court not even in high court.

1. Drug peddlers are abundant because they run street operations almost risk free. We need to make odd against them with strict laws.
2. Their access points to our youths needs to checked and restricted.Make it difficult to get handson.
3.Anonymous helpline can be made available to report.

There are hubs where foreigners come & smoke like Kasol in HP, Rishikesh, Mcleodganj, Kerala etc. This menace has become fashion statement because of them, otherwise it was restricted. It has spread in cities & colleges because it is easily available, also every 'Pan' shop has the paper to roll the 'joint.' One step could be that every fresher while applying for job has to undergo narcotics test from only recognized doctors. Youngsters will stop using if they find their career threatened.

If there is need to produce drugs and the product is being made is used like a medicine then should be produced by the govt. and individual license should not be given for production of the drugs. To take(consume) drugs is just habit not a disease, where drug is needful for human being it should be produced and sale by the govt. not any private agent or agency, becoz an individual person is not always honest, if govt. gives just relaxation to selling agencies u can see consequences
