According to me the main reason youngsters take drugs is because they feel the need to get away from present stress which they would be facing at that moment and feel happy. If we can come up with best ideas to keep our youth happy with things like sports and exercises they wont need these kind of items any more. Also Govt need to take some severe actions against the one's who supplies or manufactures it. We are the youngest country but we need to take leverage of it.

government must also suggest some replacement for tackling this menace,,because at ground level it is difficult to suddenly curb it,it will must go through proper channel and for that it will take time, so, there must be some alternative positive things like chewing gums and toffees, which should be advertised to make or give some replacements to addicted persons as a phase I. then next steps automatically will start , to end this menace from root level, but should be done in phased manner.

OUR YOUTH FIRST RESORT TO LIQUOR AS A FASHION AND TO SHOW THEIR MANNLINESS BUT SLOWLY THEY GET ADDICTED AND THEN RESORT TO DRUGS WHICH IS CHEAPER STAFF AND DANGEROUS. IN DELHI ATLEAST I HAVE BEEN SEEING THIS FOR YEARS NOW. FIRSTLY WE MUST CANCEL ALL BAR LISCENSES IN DELHI WHICH IS ENCOURAGING THE YOUTH TO TAKING OF LIQUOR.

government has to choose between revenue collection and protection of health and safety of citizens. if government decides to do away with unnecessary tax collection, immediately it should ban liquor, like it is banned in many states. then comes cigarettes, bidi and finally comes drugs. government hunger for taxes is the real culprit. all these exercises of taking people advice on liquor, cigars, drugs, etc. is just a joke on us.

First We have to give awareness to Students of School and colleges, against bad effect of drugs. Moreover, should give strict watch near School and colleges, where this DRUG agents wandering to trap students in drug scams. Govt should give this work to some students with co-ordination of local police.

Drug business and drug addictions are very neatly woven. The young mass are made the victims. Make the youth of all sections busy during day & night and catch the influentials doing heavy business by selling addictions. Religious places are the "big dens" of these drug mafias. The reason is these places are not checked for sentimental issues, where lie the loopholes. The famous and rich people are rich and famous because they make their fortunes by selling the drugs without being caught. NOTE:

Sir, We often see scavengers around us collecting papers, plastics. Most of these scavengers are from the age of 15 to 30 years. If we collect data that how much this youth percentage is involved in drug menace, it will surely be very high. So channelize this population. This population is also carrier of drug material. As per record there are 20 lacs scavengers in India. This population earns 750 crores in a year by by cleaning areas through scavenging. Please register them.
