During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

Close all the drug producing companies, ban them. If not possible Charge heavy fine and imprisonment for those who buy it/sell it. If this is also not possible then we can just try people teaching how to be "self Control". But this may work with 25% , others we can handle only by punishing...but you may be told as dictator by the drugist. So please try stopping the availabity of drugs . Ban all stupid drug producers, sellers.Modiji you are putting more efforts .Thanks for all ,will pray for suces

Apart from studies, it must be told to small class students about cause of drugs..children must aware in schools that drugs make you weaker, even any country can take advantage from you...it must be retaken once in a semester so that this issue would sit in their mind..

Drugs & other forms of drinks have close relationship.Infact a person starts with tobacco, hard drinks and finally drugs.Hence,it is better to strike at root cause. My suggestions are that like Kerela, either liquor sale should be totally banned or made too costly. All liqior shops should be far away from other shops.Let foreigners consume when they come here. The awareness in schools for students of 11th & 12th students be made compulsory plus aggressive compaign through electronic media.S K Roongta

Its not that much easy to stop this sir, by limiting the production supply, and by restrictions to the youngsters we can stop slowly. By educating the school students more on this the persons in their own family can stop on this. Youngsters use to do this for relaxing but only the educated peoples are mostlty addicted.. we can stop by reducing the shops near working places, and limiting the shops through their areas........ production can be stopped totally this is my idea.
