We need to look closely at how RTE has been implemented. I have not seen a school that actually enrolls 25% poor students. Instead, this has been employed as another means to increase school fees exponentially. So government should focus on stricter regulation of school fees and also monitor the school's commitment to social responsibility.

Financial aids should be done. But, it should be based on the responsibility of the student. Today we spend a lot of financial aids to weaker sections. But, most of them misuse it by not learning anything! Every paisa we spend should be made accountable.
