Sagar is one of the most important cities in the Bundelkhand region and presently caters to all urban and rural settlements located within 60 km radius. It acts as a major agro market hub for the neighboring villages and towns.

As Sagar has been selected in 100 Potential Smart Cities, it is a cumulative endeavor to make the city resilient, sustainable and Liveable.

In first round of submission, Sagar scored 50.27% figuring at rank 51 and in round two Sagar again missed the top-27 list only by a whisker. Now, as a part of challenge, Sagar is required to rebuild its Smart City Plan and Proposal to get through the Round – III. The Sagar Municipal Corporation is currently working on upgrading its proposals for Round 3 of the Smart City Mission. One of the key processes of the Mission is to engage with the citizens at every stage in order to prioritize the areas for intervention.

Municipal Corporation urges all the citizens and stakeholders to kindly review the proposal submitted earlier in Round – II (accessible through link below) and share their valuable opinion and views so that the physical, social and knowledge infrastructure of city is upgraded to match the modern times as well as maintain our traditional roots and culture.

Citizens are encouraged to write their valuable suggestions as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Sagar a model smart city.

Some small steps can results in big changes :- 1. Introducing Dustbins at every 100 mtrs 2. Spitting on roads must be considered as an offence and huge fine must be charged 3. Frequent audits must be done by authorised person 4. Proper cleaning of drains make a policy for city to be followed and put a board of that policy.

my suggestion is for MUNICIPAL CORPORATION that - jo road apne tili hospital se lekar tili tigadda tak banai hai. usmai so centre mai divider hai usmai greenery ke liye kuch kare.. do have a plantation campaign for planting plants in divider. or beech beech mai PILLARS FOR ADVERTISEMENT ke bhi laga skte ho jisse MC ko revenue bhi mil sake. yahi kaam aap TEEN BATTI ROAD ke liye bhi kr skte ho. usmai bhi divider mai plants laga skte ho.. or advertisement ke liye pillars laga skte ho....

Mall is a basic need of any town nowadays. An old fashioned mall was constructed which is a total waste of that beautiful area Civil line square. Government must provide funding to renovate that mall because it will boost purchasing and cash flow will increase and it will also increase employment. Please build a mall like dbcity mall as attached

This is the main obstruction in the smart city road. this is the situation of NH26. In order to make sagar a smart city please allocate a desired place for cattle, it is the main cause of accidents too. Road conditions are also very bad and we call it a national highway.

In order to start the development phase firstly roads must be built properly so that dust will not be accumulated at certain places and cleaning can become an easy task. Parking tiles at road side must be fitted at each and every corner in order to prevent dust winds. Signal lights must be established at every circle in order to have a disciplined traffic. Cameras must be fitted in order to monitor the traffic. Heavy penalty must be taken from traffic law breakers.

To keep the city clean and green there must be provision of dust bins at short distance.....Our planning is very poor...There must be a short term training programme for the staff and officers....and Also try some Wi-fi system for city.....
