The draft plan is silent on the "software",/human capital requirements. IR requires a committed leadership cadre of officers from a single service,IRMS,presumably. Globally, such leaders are produced through a "catch them young" scheme of recruitment. In our country,NDA is a classic example for producing Young officers of the Armed forces. On IR we had the now disbanded scheme- SCRA for officers (Mechanical engineering branch),via UPSC Induction into IRMS via similar route needs to be introduced.

I am writing what I felt as a railway pessenger that number of unreserved boggies should be increased at least upto 50percent which would ease the pressure from pessenger and would make the journey much smoother and happier On other fronts railway has done remarkable well There is one demand also . Railway should provide free rail pass to the dependent of freedom fighters as we wish to visit many places related with our freedom struggle
