In an endeavour to address the inadequacies of capacity constraints and improve its modal share in total freight eco system of the country, Indian Railways has come up with Draft National Rail Plan.

A draft of long term strategic plan called the National Rail Plan has been developed to plan infrastructural capacity enhancement along with strategies to increase modal share of the Railways. The National Rail Plan will be a common platform for all future infrastructural, business and financial planning of the Railways. This plan is being circulated among various Ministries for their views now. Railways aim to finalise the Final plan by January 2021.

Good morning, Technology has been great. Railways developing ways best to be successful ways. We are almost AatmaNirbhar to be Environmental health and safety of human health. Use of Solar power, air electricity, GOOD HABITS are needed too. Don't use into trains travelling Tobacco, smoking, etc.. BHARATIY'S positive energy and AatmaNirbharta has been great. Valuable life, health is good to do. Science and scientific technology use social development. Positive minds good.

Respected Prime Minister Sir, I suggest you to take steps against railway accidents happening while crossing railway tracks. For example Aurangabad incident. Nearly 16 migrant workers have died.

All old rail coaches to be used as swatch bharath toilets or to be modified and used for passenger trains in low capacity traffic areas Goods trains to be utilized for transfer tieup with industries one business consultant for maximum utilization Lot of local trains to be included fast ones for less journeys Lot of people need more general compartments or increase sleeper class seats Need more stops and fast trains and clean bathrooms Need more stations all over India

Indian Railway should built R&D centers for research in Railway technologies. This includes scientific researches & implementation on: 1) Track efficiency 2) Coach Modification 3) Optimize Electricity Consumption 4) Signalling efficiency 5) Traffic Management 6) Efficient Freight Handling 7) Rail Connectivity in remote location 8) Safety 9) Monitoring Survey and Surveillance technology efficiently 10) Accurate real time passenger and freight trains tracking 11) Digitalization of Railway

More RoRo Services for trucks using freight trains between those cities which are 500 to 900 kms in distance. This will reduce traffics on road, and it will result in less pollution. Country's dependencies on fuel will also drop.

india requires a huge rail network and india is the fourth largest rail network of the world. as in india many train runs but as because of low quality of railway track the trains cant run with their maximum speed s the bullet train is under construction. The new semi high projects can started. as the train-18 was done.electrification should done 1. so,in india plans of semi high speed trains can be started. 2. the quality of railway track can enhanced in some areas where possible
