As part of the Ministry of Urban Development’s Smart City Challenge, Udaipur Municipal Corporation has recently completed the round one of the citizen’s consultation. Based on the outcome of round one, Corporation is now preparing to undertake several activities for citizen’s engagement in round two. As part of round two, Udaipur Municipal Corporation now invites suggestions/ feedbacks on one of the priority area i.e. ‘intelligent government services’ required by Udaipur city to be smart. All services are provided through online and offline platforms. Citizens and officials can access information on accounting and monitor status of projects and programs through data available on online system. Robust data infrastructure system shares information and enhances internal governmental coordination.

Please give your suggestions that what all services should be there?

There are many things which could be effectively done under Intelligent Government Services. Police - An official facebook and Twitter page to keep citizens updated on law and order, crime, accidents and other important information. UMC- Marriage Certificate Service to be done online and user should have easy access to take out printout anytime. Cleaning- GPS System in all grabage truck to keep tab on their availability and position. An easy to access mobile app for tourists etc. Thanks

Plantation at all levels indoor as well as outdoor should be encouraged Musical fountain and formation Waste products should be segregated as organic and non organic waste Safety of citizens Local artisans should be encouraged Problem of vacate plot filled with garbage should be controlled Foot over bridge at important junctions Solar road lights Renovation of old water resources Recycling of waste water Reuse of kitchen waste and water in garden Cable less city Night sweeping

Proper water supply and sanitation Under-grounding of power cables Using CCTV/ sensors/ SMS/ app-based alerts for monitoring bin fill levels Beautiful landscaping of open space and gardens Regular cleaning of city Night sweeping Control on stay animals Policy makers should be made smart first Road should be same leveled & width of both side of divider Setting up bio gas plant Proper crossing of roads with help of under pass and over pass Road side developments Wi-Fi hubs

Solid Waste Management Door-to-door waste collection GPS in garbage collection trucks – integrated with garbage bin-fill alerts Heritage Conservation through building regulation and restoration of Structure. Restoration of lakes Complete WiFi the city Provide night market – food court Strong action against encroachment and illegal construction No encroachment on footpath Proper stand for taxi and auto No alcohol in city Parking must be compulsory for all govt. and pvt. Property

CCTV and its proper monitoring and maintenance.Proper attendance of government employees in important offices as RSEB, Pension Office and specially the courts.
