Mangaluru faces shortage of water during summer...Yettinahole project taken up got. of Karnataka will deepen this problem further since nethravathi river would be left with little water...Power shortage is also another major problem..serious measures have to be taken to harness renewable sources of energy which minimizes power crisis

Mangaluru should focus on the overall developments like broad roads , 24 hrs water & electicity. Good drainage, footpath, trees to be planted on both the sides of road, under pass, flyovers, ring roads, corruption control officers. Development work needs to be distributed area or ward wise. Each corporator of the area will have to develop and maintain their area. And at the end of the year each corporator will have to submit a report card of their work. Create a health competition among wards.

AS MY VIEW MANGALURU SHOULD BE
*E-SYSTEM SHOULD BE USED INSTEAD OF BOOKS IN EDUCATION SYSTEM SO WE CAN ACHIEVE AIM "SAVE TREE SAVE PAPER"
*EVERY DOCUMENTS LIKE PAN CARD, ADHAR CARD, RATION CARD, PASSPORT, D L ,ATM CARD ETC SHOULD BE UNDER ONE CARD THAT IS "SMART CARD"

To make mangaluru smart city we can plant grass near all pavements so that soil won't spread to pavements and road and it will help to keep the city clean and green. All street lights can be made solar and electrical so that when it is sunny with solar power it works and during rainy electrical power. Plant more native trees if planning to plant more tress.regularise traffic by employing more traffic police.
