Before making our Dharwad SMART city, lets judge ourself How SMART we are...S(Social)M(Motivated)A(Accountable)R(Responsible)T(Time Bond). Lets join together to make our city Green & clean first. If each one of us grow 1 tree plantation in our city, just imagine how many lacs tress will grow.. We have 6 members in house & today we did. Avoid usage of Plastics carry bags & educate first to our known family members. 60% of public are not following the Traffic signals...Start asking ur self first.

First of all a four lane RING ROAD is to be constructed from Panemangaluru (On Nethravathi River Bank) to Bander and from Bander to Kulur ( on Palguni river bank) with PARK inbetween the four lane road and on the river bank to minimise the congestion inside the present city as well as to attract the National as well as international Tourist to our beautiful Mangalore city.Western parts from Ullal to Mulki coastal area about 10-15 beaches may be used for tourism development.

Smart city vision mainly includes cleanliness..Mangaluru faces cleanliness problem even after swachh bharat implementation due to lack of public awareness and poor implementation.. Hence if even this is taken care of we can move forward in realizing the dream of a smart city

One important thing in Mangaluru is the problem of road safety!!!! May deaths from school children to old people are occurring due to irresponsibility of drivers and violation of traffic rules..Private buses in order to collect more money overspeed which is detrimental to the lives of many people.. Mangaluru can become a smart city if even this problem is solved and all its residents lead a peaceful life...even some roads are poorly maintained.
