As you aware, Thane City has been shortlisted as one of the 100 Smart Cities in India. While the administration is in the process of formulation of a project plan with the help of consultants, TMC is of the firm view that it is your suggestions and ideas as a citizen of this city which shall be most helpful to us. Your suggestions are very valuable to us and it shall only strengthen our endeavor to make a smart plan for the city.

We are sure that the citizens of Thane shall give their valuable suggestions in this regard which we shall try to incorporate in the Smart City Plan. Suggestions which are noteworthy shall be given a weightage and we shall be calling the concerned organizations and individuals for further discussion in this regard. We shall also, soon, be organizing an interactive session with Thanekars to understand their vision and expectations.

We request you all to give your valuable inputs in the comment section below in this regard so that we can make Thane a smart city.

There isn't one thing. All the points given in the poll are important . Thane city should work on all the areas to get forward on path towards being called as SMART CITY.

Important points to make Thane smarter 1) There should be maximum numbers of gardens for the all 2) All roads should provided with good landscape and plantation on dividers 3) public transport should be proper and efficient by proper management of service. 4)Maximum use of solar energy for street lights, signals and all other applications 5) There should be a app of city where all of us can complaint about our problem and app will be directly connected with respective authority

Govt should focus on; 1. Teach discipline to citizens as they are undisciplined, 2. tree plantation, as abad is having very less trees in the city. 3. Proper city planning for infrastructure. 4. Neat & Clean Roads 5. Water supply as is always suffers from Drought. 6. Our leaders should be reviewed by PM for the progress.

In todays scenerio the first thing that should be taught to girls right from their formative years is that they neeed to be mentally strong to face challenges and impart martial training to secure their self respect.The schools should include this as a part of their curriculum.

The city of Thane requires to ensure basic infrastructure services to enable a decent quality of life in urban pockets and a clean and sustainable environment and adoption of smart solutions and providing more public spaces to poor. It may be implemented through areas based approach consisting of retrofitting, re-development, pan city initiatives. There is also need of hours to develop and adopt a model code for development of new cities Pan India for continuous pace of Smart Development.

during rainy season water level raised up so...TMC must take care of that road.... so that people travelling on road should not be get stuck...
