Thane is the densely populated residential. Buildings are all over.
But there are no grounds for childrens to play outdoor games. There are clubs but no grounds. No Public facilities for sports.
A Sports hub is a must needed , so that people can come over and play.
The hub should be public to all and should have all sporting events such as Badminton, Basket Ball etc.

Please ensure water waste management is done without impact on health of residents in the vicinity. I understand that there is a concrete proposal to install STP at Parsik Nagar near the water pumping station and in the midst of residential complexes wherein almost 50 thousand residents are already settled for more than 5 years now. If this proposedSTP is installed then it will be hazardous to live in this area. I do not think the authorities have taken cognizance of this.....

I am not asking something great or out of the country. I am asking very simple thing,
make Thane zero tolerance city towards traffic violations.
Every Thaneiite and in short all Indians must remember "Only Human beings follow rules and law, Animals don't". You decide who you are.
1. No wrong side driving (come to Kapurbawadi junction)
2. Everybody stop at red light all the time. Humans should be human all the time not just in day time.
3. No honking strictly.
4. No lane cutting

Safe city
Footpaths with fencing to be kept clear of hawkers, Shifting Weekly bazars to be allowed, in each ward. Same day to be observed no vehicle day in that ward.
CCTV to be installed at every location in city.
With this citizen will feel safe while walking on road and staying at home in Thane City.

City waste water management
All buildings must have waste water pre treatment by 'two compartment septic tank (with WHO norms)', where the solid muck settles down and floating muck also gets trapped. All this solid waste separated from sewage will be taken by municipal suction tankers once in 2-3 years. The outlet to be connected to underground gutter system. This will avoid big treatment plants and untreated water going to creek.

The elected corporates
They must behave properly to solve problems of the people in their wards. And the 'Rada.makers', 'corrupt' corporates
to be disqualified for twenty years from standing for election.

City Solid waste management
can be achieved by separating the city garbage at source only, in three types of containers like
i) Bio-degradable waste like green vegetables, food wastes, etc. to be processed by bio.culture or vermi.culture at source.
ii) Reusable or recyclable waste, like paper, glass, plastic,
iii) Non.reusable, non degradable waste, building material etc.

Smart City There should be fast communication between citizens and TMC administration, who takes quick decisions, action to their requirements. And also keeps vigilance on illegal activities and takes prompt action against it.
For the fast communication, 'TMC should appoint properly equipped field officer in each ward', who will keep direct touch with citizens for their problems. At the same time will keep vigilance on the illegal constructions, encroachments,
