Implement a system that allows any household or industry or organisation to install solar rooftop power that will be grid connected and the number of units produced will be directly deducted from his/her own consumption. This will make the city partially self sufficient. They should also be directly able to use the power in case of a power cut. Incentives and subsidy also should be given to the ones who install such a system

With the ONLINE opinion ,we should also make voting system at ROURKELA, where RMC will point out some important points related to smart city and on the basis of majority given from people, we should plan the further process.
If we will do like this,then we can connect the people of ROURKELA with smart city process.

1.Make strict rules for people driving in wrong side and talking over phone while driving.
2.Look into cleanliness and proper lighting in the city.
3.Girl safety during all hours everywhere in the city.
4.Ban of alcohol and cigarette in public places, gumtis and specially in picnic places. This will avoid lot of crime.
5.Setting up of Industries and Software Park that would create ample of job oportunities for youths of Rourkela.
6.Proper Traffic Lighting in main chowks.

Make a stoppage for rajdhani,shatabdi.
Start flight service.
Provide financial help to private steel plants so that they can come and start their plant in rourkela as it is surrounded by mines.
Discover tourist place in and near rourkela.
Power cut should be stopped.
Maintenance of I.G PARK AND ISPAT NEHRU PARK so that more families can come.
Daily market road is so small, something should be done for that road.
Dustbin should be installed in all the colonies of main road.

Steps may taken for eco tourism developmebt with small parks and other recreation facility with the help of existing small parks in and around Rourkela with PPP mode especially near hanuman Vatika, near DAV pond, near Airport, near Fruits Garden, near Kadan of Padhanpalli by which more and more employement and livelihood generation wourld take place with income generation too.

Good Internet Connectivity through BSNL or any other system is the first anf formost requrement to rune various systems under smart city. So proper mmeasures must taken care with the help of BSNL for the good internet connectivity in various part od Rourkela Municipal Corporation and Industrial Township.
