The economically vibrant city of Pimpri-Chinchwad is one step closer to fulfilling its smart city aspirations. The city has been shortlisted to be developed as a smart city under the Smart Cities Mission of the Central Government. As prescribed under this Mission, the city is required to prepare a Smart City Proposal which will document the cities planned interventions for becoming a smart city.

As the city wishes to reflect the needs and aspirations of the citizens in its Smart City Proposal, the city seeks the opinions and suggestions of its citizens.

The following points can be considered while providing your opinions and suggestions for the city

• Problems faced by citizens
• Aspirations for the city
• Areas that should be prioritized for development
• Smart solutions that can be adopted by the city

Jai Hind jai Bharat. Jai jawan jai kissian. Dear PM Modi ji, I have very idea to make city smart by use of little technology of whatapp with the modification of the police help no 100 The modification is that in the radius of that P.S automatically whatapp active to inform all the missing child, to identify any stranger, appeal for identification scepect person, etc to help police and nation. I hope this will happen to meet the people those whose will missing. Jai Bharat

- Clean, well planned roads - planning should include future needs, parking lanes, etc. - Hawkers free roads and footpaths. Every ward should have dedicated space for hawkers etc. - Effective public transport. Disciplined bus service, metro on important routes (Nigdi-Pimpri) - Co-ordination between municipal corporation, traffic police, etc. - Synchronized traffic signals. Effective use of CCTV for punishing traffic offenders. - Working citizen grievance system #SmartCity #PCMC

- Disciplined, focused staff/employees - Corporate work culture in municipal corporation - Credit/ranking based salary increments and promotions - Digitization of each and every process/function in corporation. - Transparency in working. Build an portal where every citizen can see/monitor working in corporation (tenders, approvals, etc) - Citizen Assistance Center in every ward - for water, electricity, phone bill payments etc. #SmartCity #PCMC

Hello Team My gov, I have following suggestions for PCMC smart city, 1. Keep dustbins throughout the city at a distance of 500m or 1Km distance so that Clean India Movement. 2. Provide Bio-toilets movable (1 for male and 1 for female) at min 1.5Km to 2Km distance. 3. Use the latest technology to make roads clear from pits within short time period. 4. Replace the all zopadis with new homes min 1RK. 5. Replace the BRT transportation system with different effective technology.
