The economically vibrant city of Pimpri-Chinchwad is one step closer to fulfilling its smart city aspirations. The city has been shortlisted to be developed as a smart city under the Smart Cities Mission of the Central Government. As prescribed under this Mission, the city is required to prepare a Smart City Proposal which will document the cities planned interventions for becoming a smart city.

As the city wishes to reflect the needs and aspirations of the citizens in its Smart City Proposal, the city seeks the opinions and suggestions of its citizens.

The following points can be considered while providing your opinions and suggestions for the city

• Problems faced by citizens
• Aspirations for the city
• Areas that should be prioritized for development
• Smart solutions that can be adopted by the city

Smart City should be a center for job creation. They can create more jobs to make smart city clean and green. Every ward can have paid volunteers for plantation and sustaining the plants, making compost from plants remains and growing the plants.

8. MOre greenery - plant more trees 9. Well maintained Parks for children and elderly people 10.Good Public Library 11.Form a care taker group whom citizens can approach for resolving issues .The group should be open forr genuine suggestions and act on it .

To make a smart city citizens have to be smart !! According to me , following are the basic things which need immediate attention ! 1. Traffic Discipline and management 2.Proper Public Parking - multilevel parking lots 3. Roads should be cleared of parking 4. Free footpaths for pedestrians -NO hawkers /foodstalls on footpath 5. Cleanliness - Dustbins on foot path sides 6. Clean and usable Public toilets for both men and women 7. Proper and stricter administration .

Pimpri -Chinchwad is well surrounded by Pawana River. we can develop river surrounding area like Sabarmati River Front. It will change look of city. evening will be plesant. we can add fountains, light show, chat choupati, amuzment park, Rock Garden, flower garden. It will be also create employment , earnings for variety of people. It will improve atmosphere of city. Also one important point is that there should be no vehicle zone near to river front. Battery vehicles, Horse cart shuold allow.

Slide 5 to 10 exhibit a Smart Solution of Digital Literacy + Smart Citizen + Smart Governance which I had presented during a conference in Sri Lanka in Nov 2015. Pune is considered to be an ideal Indian Smart City. This also encompasses Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation along with PMC, as problems are similar and Areas of development are almost same. #SmartCity, CIDCO has done a commendable job in Navi Mumbai, Pimpri Chinchwad can benefit in a similar manner since expansion of corporation limits is yet to happen. Planned development of a similar nature will emensely benefit citizens.

Topic:PARKING FREE CITY. To kill traffic in Pimpri station area should be free from parking. Every 1 or 1 1/2km should have multilevel parking facility. E.g. Pimpri market parking, Sai chowk Dalco road, next to dairy farm road, etc. Parking on roads should be banned. 2 wheelers as well as 4 wheelers. This should be the first thing to be smart city. It has been observed in foreign country that even in small villages is having multilevel parking in market place. Eg Lipplstadt in Germany. Txs

खाजगी इंग्लिश मेडीअम स्कुलो मे डोनेशन के नाम से होने वाली भारी लुट से छुटकारा मिलना चाहिये ..और खास digitil india का नारा दिया लेकीन अभी स्कुलो मे monthly fees के लिये भी कॅश की मांग करते है. इसकी जांच करके यह तुरंत बंद कर देना चाहिये .

Pimpri Chinchwad Muncipal Corporation needs following things 1) Good transportation system 2) Good sports facilities 3) Lots of trees 4) Cleaner roads
