The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

Present pasighat has abundant shortfalls in various sector but equally has potential and resources to combat the obstacle subject to optimal performance with great sincerity and determination to get acclaimed as state’s first smart city.

Pasighat as a part of the smart city project needs to be designed wisely, considering the ingenious population as the key point .our pasighat should step ahead towards progress taking all its citizen along ,irrespective of class differences ,and catering to everyone’s need equally ,as such pasighat to be a truly smart.

We identified eight keys aspect that define pasighat as a smart city Such as, smart governance, smart energy, smart building , smart technology , smart health care and smart citizens. So that our Pasighat count in the smartest cities in the world.

A city equipped with basic infrastructure to give a decent quality of life, a clean and sustainable environment through application of smart solution is said to be a smart city. Pasighat is the only town in Arunachal Pradesh which fulfill the condition of having a existing master plan or proposed for being selected as a smart city...

The concept in not static there in no absolute definition of a smart city. No and point but rather a process, or series of steps by which cities become more live able and hence. Able to respond quicker or new challenges.

It is based on connectivity of all. All information system from the city are linked and everything in connected be an information system through technologies such as wireless networks.

As pasighat is a land of many natural beauties like rivers, mountains forest, animals ,birds and many other creatures which give an excellent example for being a smart city along with this their should be other official development for the citizens of pasighat.
