The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

Smart city means better facilities to the city in making Pasighat as smart city I only suggest you to give a Pasighat better future for coming generation .By providing better education, road water , electricity .Because in psg there is various problem what can I say to you so only few things provide better road, edn.etc.I suggest you to make Psg as smart city by:-(i) Opening best colleges, university (Vijay Kr.Yadav)

1.Educational & spots(school/college/skill development/stadiums) 2.Security(women safety/high tect police boots/cctv surveillance/local broadcasting) 3.Utility(24X7 water supply,24X7 electricity&street light) 4.Health Service(primary health care/hospitals/nursing homes/diagonestics) 5.Proper channelized of water drainage system. Pasighat town is not hygienic, there's lot of diseases. Malaria, Dengue, etc...so, workshops to educate the people about cleanliness could do some good. people should stop keeping poultry animals like chicken, pigs in their quarters. If people of pasighat will be smart then only Pasighat will be a SMART CITY.

1.The neighboring town of East Siang Pasighat such as Mebo,Bilat,Ruksin citizen may be bound their property right.Then smart city may go forward.(2)Electrification and water supply is under the department sympathy.(3)Proper road & transport is also under the concerns deptt.sympathy. To come to the point, no one should raise objection over connecting of railway. After completion of landing ground at Pasighat and bridge over brahmaputra will give some sigh of relief but not to poor people. We must look for all possible way for the benefit of general people.

Besides, there in no cold storage facility in the district. Because of which produce of farmers are being sold in local and neighboring market at very cheap rate with very nominal Profit. Beside train service, cold storage or processing units are to be set up. Alright tea growers are managing it, but poor farmers are the worst sufferer.

my dream to Pasighat in future Pasighat will be organic hub of agriculture, horticulture and spices products for the country because our products is 100 % organic.
