Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is making all efforts to make citizens comfortable by giving them all infrastructure available to them. The Achievements of NMMC as known to citizens are mentioned below:

• High per capita income and cosmopolitan population
• Higher Education Institutes- Engineering, Management and Medical
• Major industrial area across Thane Belapur Road
• Biggest trading APMC
• Part of Proposed Knowledge Corridor
• Two big Infotech parks and presence of major players in these parks and outside
• Planned Urban Development
• Picturesque coastal area and very green Parsik hill
• Local dialling with the commercial capital

The objective of the consultations with the Citizens of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is to motivate the people to get involved in the process of development of city into SMART CITY taking advantage of above schemes & to know the views and concerns of the stakeholders about the city. Their views and suggestions will have major contribution in formulating the vision for the city. This is an effort to connect YOU as a citizen to your local Government.

Your responses shall help us incorporate your inputs and emerge as a winner in the list of 10 cities that will undertake the smart city journey from Government of Maharashtra. Ideas are sought related to smart governance, smart information, smart citizens, smart mobility, smart energy etc. which are ecologically friendly, technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency.

1)wall art_graffiti art/design can be used to show vibrant city. 2)cycle track shall be made compulsory.

7) Old building can converted into Green Buildings. 8) Intelligent traffic management. 9) Smart parking i.e. multilevel car parking. 10)100 % treatment of waste water.

CCTV camera is to be fixed on all roads and mainly on signal and same to be checked from control room and fine to imposed on the people breaking rules. At present most of the persons are breaking rules. once this is done it will be a great help to make smart city. many road are blocked by car parking on both side and find it difficult for vehicle to pass from that place. similarly many foot paths are not in position to walk due to captured by hawkers

Install Tourism kiosks to provide important tourist information on hotels, restaurants, shopping and events at important locations like stations, Bus depots, Malls.

A city can become smart only when all the people work responsibly and respect each other. Following are some suggestions from my side :- 1) Should ban Plastic. 2) Should ban spitting & smoking in public place. 3) Footpath should be made free from hawkers. 4) Banner should be limited & all banner displaying control should be under city corporation. 5) Waste to compost. 6) Some beautiful plans for hill side area,water park which also help to increase revenue of NMMC.

I need bus indicator and wifi in bus stops. Gps tracking displays which no bus is approaching in how many minutes. This system was in place in uk in 1999 so it should be there in my smart city of Navi Mumbai

It is very difficult to cross the roads during pick hours so there should be underground sub ways to cross the roads. Also buses comes very late, many times we have Waite for 30 to 45 minutes on bus stop, so there should be good public transportation facility so that people can reach there work place on time.

I wish you can provide good maternity hospital and digitalise it by tagging the baby immediately as soon the baby is born. A photo identity and should have mother pic along with it. It should be made compulsory for the baby to have digital strip on the feet and should be scanned before leaving the hospital premises so that the hospital authorities make sure the baby is with parents. In this way we can avoid baby are stolen by some racket who use baby for profit. Hospital should be made safe.
