# Bengaluru Smart city
Does Bengaluru really deserve Smart city status? before that I need few clarification from the Govt.
Since fifteen years Govt. is pouring money like water for infrastructure development, but still there are no changes, even if it rains for few cms areas will be flodded and BBMP and BDA has done nothing to clear the encroachments.
what is the status of Green belt which was created thirty years back in outskirts of bangalore but now it has been encroached

I don't have a fancy presentation and stuff.. but, what truly makes a city smart is education.. education that is accessible to all.. why can't the government make it mandatory for college/university goers to spend a minimum number of hours for educating children who can't afford it. The government can help provide books and stationery.. and the money you save from employing as many teachers can be used to solve other civc issues. Hope this idea/ something to do with education goes through..

No city can be smart unless all children from 0-18 years of age are in school learning with good health & nutrition without any divide whatsoever. A full proof facts based single window end to end online digital engine to achieve this objective can be planned and developed and offered to the administration. If interested please contact.

#BMTC is the lifeline for #Bengaluru Transport. But BMTC lacks efficiency in time management because of bad traffic due to vehicles number surge.
Adoption of BRT(BusRapidTrasnport) system in traffic prone Roads wil b good 4 Public transport users as well as #BMTC. Wid dedicated road for BMTC,it can improve interms
of time efficiency wic wil help BMTC to attract more passengers.
Ex:If BRTS s introduced 4m Hebbal-Silkboard where traffic of two wheelers are more, it will help public trans users

There is need to look at urban management as a long term issue and thus smart decision-making is important. The smart cities mission can show a way-forward in the way civic bodies work and plan for the city for future. http://www.cstep.in/uploads/default/files/publications/stuff/6b9cb2a72ca68b2c2ab3e98ba4c5e649.pdf

The connectivity that is the transportion should be improved by increasing the no of good conditioned BMTC buses and bus routes (good if buses are eco friendly), and as a student I would definitely recommend to increase transportation facilities at the place of institutions not just at the central bengaluru city but also all over the city, so that if a good institute is available to him he should not deny only because of the inconvenience of transportation and also maintain a moderate traffic.

To make Bangalore smart city instead of investing huge amount in building metro train, bridges, flyovers, garbage processing units;in lessor than the above said investment shift Karnataka's capital to central, backward, dry land regions like chitradurga,so that major problems of Bangalore city like tropic, environmental pollution, over population, dumping garbage into neighborhood villages can be solved permanently. It will help in overall growth of Karnataka as well as Bangalore.
