Lucknow is known from its famous Gomti river and each industry, organization and any other department, releasing there waste in Gomti. These industries/organizations/departments should be ask to release only pollution free discharge in Gomti river and there should be strong legal measures as well as monitoring by citizens for enforcing this.

A city becomes smart when its people are smart... It becomes worth living if the residents are caring and law abiding. Lucknow has all the ingredients for becoming a smart city but the attitude of the people is what lets this city down. All the major problem that the city is facing today, for example bad traffic, breakdown of law and order are because people here do not follow rules.
Making people smarter is the way to create a smart city in addition to the infrastructure changes.

The entire Lucknow should be made green by planting trees at all the possible places, which are lying vacant. All the newly developed roads and highways have eradicated lacks of trees. We will have to fill this gap immediately because we have spoilt the entire environment around us. The schools and colleges shall be responsible to plant maximum possible trees within the campus & surroundings so as to develop green patch...
