Lucknow is the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. A major metropolitan city of India. It is the second largest city in north and central India after Delhi. Lucknow has always been known as a multicultural city that flourished as a North Indian cultural and artistic hub and seat of Nawab power in the 18th and 19th centuries. It continues to be an important centre of government, education, commerce, aerospace, finance, pharmaceuticals, technology, design, culture, tourism, music and poetry.

Lucknow Municipal Corporation is preparing the Smart City Proposal with an intent to plan and provide smart solutions to the city and welcomes the citizens of Lucknow to post their views, opinions, thoughts and plans on smart solutions for their needs related to water supply, sanitation, solid waste management, storm water drainage, waste water management, affordable housing, energy efficiency, use of renewable and solar energy, non-motorized transport, underground electric cabling, open space development, safety, healthcare, education, culture and heritage, public transport, key infrastructure such as pedestrian walkways, cycle tracks, roads, underpasses, Fly overs, services such as e-governance tools etc.

Inputs from citizens is crucial for framing a vision for Lucknow and to get selected as one among the top 20 cities in the first year, in the Smart City Challenge round.

LED base direction map should be shown on each crossing e.g. suppose in Ganj crossing when you reach from rajbhavan then you see on top having a line where dotted spot are shown with name of colonies the way it is shown in metro train of delhi. so here lef big board will have left line with led lights which will show charbag, alambagh and if traffic is high then it wd be in red else orange (light traffic) and green (no traffic). right board will show badshaahnagar,nishatganj; middle wd show ganj

at highway light maintaince should be done and in colonial type roads along with widening one should use less area under for divider

.Please look after for government offices. .Please do something for damaged roads. .safety should be more high for girls.

All goverment offices work should be in 1 building only so that aam aadmi will get some relief from going @2many places.

1-Lucknow needs a bus terminal near Charbagh railway station.Best suitable place is Ambedkar Maidan. 2-A wide bus station is waiting since 6 years at Uttarthiya must be operational soon. 3-Stablishments like hospitals,zoo,offices should be transferred at most convenient and spacious places.Railways track and whole railway establishments should be beautified.
