High speed metro between Hubballi and Dharwad will help a lot.
High speed trains between Hubbali and Bangalore will reduce the demographic migration from these cities and reduces overcrowding of Bangalore. Low cost airfare between Hubballi and Bangalore will help be great help.

The proper maintainance of public toilets,bus stops.Proper facilities of garbage dispose and roads must me take care.And also the sanitation issues also should be seen.As earlier hubballi was not so developed but now it had become a well developed and smart city too and the traffic rule must be taken strictly.

For smart city main things are high speed internet, education i.e schools equipped with internet and digital boards. Self generating and sustained Power. Rain water harvesting,
Digitally connected and well equipped hospitals with pvt participation. well planned storm water drains, underground pipelines, cable system, wide road roads. Education and promotion of modern farming.

school kids and young generation belonging to this area will have lot of ideas and they can also participate. Govt should encourage school and colleges to participate by not just giving ideas but by implementing them.

Use LED lights on streets so that it saves energy consumption and gives more brightness/light. Drainage system should be underground. Improve gardens and make our city look smart. Input gas pipes so that direct connection to the houses can be given . Developed construction design. Public toilets should be construction and kept clean.

As Hubli-Dharwad is been declared as a Smart City. So we need a improvement in the roads,Street lights,Wifi-Connectivity,Housing for poor people,Adequate water supply,Assured electricity supply,Efficient urban mobility and public transport
