#SmartCity, #HubballiDharwad, My Suggestion. Since, Project BRTS is going in HUBBALLI-DHARWAD. We can have SOLAR powered corridor for 20 kms along that separate lane for BRTS bus corridor. By this, we can have road WITHOUT DARKNESS along that stretch. So, that can also be used for other roads of the twin city to lit the road lights. By this, we can have comfort travel (less accidents) and will ensure safety for women at night time to travel. - Shreeshail ML Asst. Prof., Mech Dept, BVBCET.

We must further build this city optimally using local resources without large landscape changes and importantly maintaining greenery. The design should be such that it reduces noise pollution, water pollution and easy handling of solid waste.Recycling has to be implemented in a phased manner.

7. Similarly Ex-IAS and KAS officers for administrative problems, team of Chartered Accountants for financial problems, team of Lawyers for legal issues, Ex-serviceman and Ex-IPS for problems related to home issues etc. Thereby making the system dependent more on the people themselves than the authorities. 8. Every problem should have a time frame and people who come up with innovative solutions should be rewarded.

We have to take into consideration some of the smart cities of western countries as the benchmark and compare them with Hubballi-Dharwad, by this we come to know where we are lagging and we can start working on the areas of improvement to make Hubballi-Dharwad as one of the best smart cities in India and important is that we have to make familiar about, what is the concept of smart city to the people of Hubballi-Dharwad. – HOD-BBA, Global College of Management, IT & Commerce, Hubballi
