1The prime focus must be on City Infrastructure which means good roads, cleanliness on road or I may say measures to reduce dust on roads must be taken
2 some good support for startups on the lines of "make in India" so that more n more people come back to Hubli & job employments will also improve
3 some tourist attraction spots can be build like water parks, gaming centers etc. Pune is an awesome example of it, from London's wax model meuseum to nashik's Shridi Mandir, lavasa all replicas

First of all congrats to our city for getting the smart city project.
The basic need for a smart city is for the various departments to have smart cooperation. This is the main reason for the current predicament of our city's roads. Cooperation between the corporation, the water board and telecos is the only solution for improvement of H-D roads and for our city to really become smart.

Hi.. This is Deepak... I am proud to I belong to HUBLI-DHARWAD twin city. I have been seeing this city since my birth... it has got lot of changes till now..... in my opinion becoming smarter city means along with city people should also become smarter in every aspect..... that can only be achieved by giving proper education.......life style should be improved... hygiene plays an important rule... so for all these changes to take place... Hubli should retain in cultural heritage........

The heritage buildings shall be retained as they are. If necessary restoration work can be undertaken. They shall not give way for high raise buildings which will put lot of pressure on the existing roads, infrastructure like water supply, UGD, etc.

This is Jyotisn frm BVBCET(KLE university) according to me and my friends some main things which must be focused to convert Hubli -dharwad as a smart city are
* vanish all the slum areas and help people living in those areas to improve their life style and to keep surroundings clean.
* digitalise all most all the systems so as to reduce queues.
* provide at least all the government offices and centres with Wi-Fi (including clear login instructions) so that every one can easily access net.
