Bhopal has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The state is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Bhopal hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Bhopal for making ‘Bhopal a smart city’. The residents may post their view pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, transport, health and educational facilities and city surveillance among others. Residents are encouraged to write the pain areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Bhopal a model smart city.

She-Lounges are well spacious, air-conditioned lounges having all the basic amenities & facilities for women. Our Municipal Corporation has already started working on this project. It is proposed to be constructed on MP Nagar, New Market, and Polytechnic Square etc.

There should be satellite bus stands in the city which will reduce the time travel and the issue of traffic in the city as the buses will not enter the city then.

Smart city is made by smart people. Such system or law should be made that people will keep city totally clean and corruption must be eliminated. And also focus should be given on villages.

Transport system should be improved. Now, it takes lot of time to enter the city near the main circle near busstand and also for going out of city

Implementation of Bicycle tracks in the city. This will help in building a Healthier City. AMC can tie up with various Bicycle dealers and promote its benefits.

AS Bhopal city is growing into new education hub in the middle INDIA,lots of students from all sectors are coming here to get degrees.A major problem which these students are facing is of proper hygienic food at reasonable cost .So in smart city mission under Pan city initiative,Nagar Nigam should open Food stalls at various places across the city.

In respect to smart city, people safety and security specially to woman should be given high priority.CCTV camera should be fixed at all the points from entrance of city to exit of city, which should be constantly monitored.
