Bhopal has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The state is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Bhopal hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Bhopal for making ‘Bhopal a smart city’. The residents may post their view pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, transport, health and educational facilities and city surveillance among others. Residents are encouraged to write the pain areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Bhopal a model smart city.

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपने क्षेत्र की समस्याओं के समाधान हेतु, अपने क्षेत्र की समस्याओं का समाधान हेतु प्रशासन को सुझाव दे एवं निवेदन करे। जिससे विकास पूर्ण हो।

सड़को पर जो बच्चे भीख़ मांगते है, उन्हें किसी संस्था या एन.जी.ओ. के व्दारा शिक्षिक किया जाना चाहिये, ताकि वह भीख ना मांगे और सभ्य बने। और स्वयं के नये भविष्य का निर्माण करे।

सड़के साफ-सुथरी होना चाहिये। तालाबों, झील,झरनों का पानी शुध्द रखने के लिये समय-समय पर सफाई होना चाहिये, और प्रशासन को जल स्त्रोतों के आस-पास कचरा करने वाले व्यक्तियों पर रोक लगानी चाहिये।

ठंडे प्रदेशों में जो पेड़ पौधें पाये जाते है, उन्हें ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा भोपाल में सभी जगह लागाया जाए, एवं एेसे पेड़-पौधों का खास ख्याल रखा जाए।

स्मार्ट सिटी में मिश्रित भूमि उपयोग को बढ़ावा दिया जाना चाहिए इसके लिए नगर सरकार ऐसे प्रयास करने चाहिए जिससे कि कार्यालय, आवासीय एवं व्यवसायिक क्षेत्र एक ही जगह उपलब्ध हों, जो जनता के लिए सुविधाजनक हो।
