Bhopal has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The state is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Bhopal hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Bhopal for making ‘Bhopal a smart city’. The residents may post their view pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, transport, health and educational facilities and city surveillance among others. Residents are encouraged to write the pain areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Bhopal a model smart city.

Some solutions regarding smart transport which are necessary for public safety & convinence are as follows: • Bus location on mobile App & destination routes, • Smart Touch – location on social sites in danger through mobile • Mobile valets in bus • Various mobile apps & tools

58. भोपाल मैं कचरे की समस्या बहुत बड़ रही है। नगर निगम कचरे की समस्या के लिए काफी पैसा खर्च करती है। फिर भी समस्या खत्म नहीं हुई है। हमे चाहिए की हम ठोस अपशिषठ व गीला कचरा अलग-अलग डालें जिस्से जो कचरा रि-साइकल हो सकता हो वह रि-साइकल हो और बाकी से खाद तथा बायो गैस बनाई जा सके।

In terms of infrastructure, the smart cities should have 24x7 availability of high quality utility services like water and power.

Once water supply,sanitation,health facilities are provided in the smart cities,other things will fall in line.Job opportunities would increase manifold. Steel,cement and other materials demand would increase.

भोपाल एक एतिहासिक पर्यटन स्थल है, हमें इसको साफ रखने के लिए सहयोग करना होगा और खासकर पुराने भोपाल के रोड को चोड़ा करना होगा।

यातायात और परिवहन व्यवस्थता में सुधार हेतु - हर ५०० मीटर पर लगभग १००० फुट चौड़ी सड़क की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित हो। ५००० फ़ीट चौड़ी सड़क हर ७ किलोमीटर पर उपलब्ध हो। मुख्य सड़को के दोनों और पानी की नहर , बगीचा , सर्विस रोड, हाथ -ठेले और फुटपाथी दुकानदारों के लिए जगह की समुचित व्यवस्था की जाये ।
