The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

4 suggestions which would go a long way in transforming our country. a) establish rule of law; please ensure overhaul of police and judiciary so that effective speedy justice is ensured. b) Significant increase in investment for research/development and education. c) Renewed vigor in controlling our population. No amount of growth with improve our quality of life without controlling our population. d) improve our environment. All these subjects are interrelated and synergistic benefit will come out if we work on all of them.

I believe this responsibility will be taken by Private sector. as private sectors are major job creator in India than Govt. a road map should be drafted with vision for future under govt. supervision and responsibility of executing that should be handed over to Private sector with check and regulation putted by govt .also I would like to add one more thing our approach should be proactive not be corrective not only for this sector but other sector too.

Dear pm ,as wastage of electricity is common things in our society.Any how both society As well government is to responsible for it .Government should make a law for manufacturers that street lights should have a ldr circuits inside it so that it can automatically on/off, it costs only Rs 08 only . one another concept which is more applicable in smart cities as well Meto cities of India that is IR sensor based system which works on movement of people and vehicles only .
