The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India envisages a judicial system that is more accessible, efficient, and equitable for every individual who engages with the justice delivery system. The right of access to justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution encompasses the right to access live court proceedings.

To imbue greater transparency, inclusivity and foster access to justice, the e-Committee has undertaken the project of live streaming of court proceedings on priority. This will enable access to live court proceedings, including on matters of public interest to citizens, journalists, civil society, academicians, and law students on a real-time basis, which was not otherwise possible owing to geographical, logistical, or infrastructural issues.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India invites inputs, feedback, and suggestions on the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

The last date to receive Suggestions/Inputs is 30th June 2021.

Pardon me if i sound stupid. :) due to lack of subject knowledge. Just 2 aspect I would state, as i have experienced. (1) RSTV & LSTV are excellent both content-wise & the way it is being delivered. Clean & to point. (2) So, just a though if ever "Live Streaming" gets a nod, then the team to shoulder this responsibility could be one like these REAL people with moral & convictions. Just last one...... I will love watching bashings done by our gov of Twitter.. :) holding our grounds yeah

Sir,eventhough transparency can be achieved, there may be chances of compromising justice in certain situations, like there may be someone helping out criminals from outside. The live streaming may help the criminals in manipulating the facts with the help of their acquaintances, before the verdict of the court. So i think live streaming can be restricted to normal civil cases and the cases where national security is not involved. Also there will be a need for its Regulation through Regulatory body

NO SHARING OF COURT PROCEEDINGS WHILE SUBMISSIONS ARE DONE BY LAWYERS COUNSELS SOLICITORS AND DEFENDENT AND PLAINT. ONCE THE ORDER IS PASSED ONLY COURT PROCEEDINGS SHOULD BE SHOWN. COURT BRIEFING EVERYDAY ON CASES PENDING CASES ON FINAL STAGE CASES ON REGISTRAR FOR ONE HOUR SHOULD BE SHOWN ON ALL TV CHANNELS AS PER INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING DEPT. THIS WOULD GIVE A PICTURE ON THE CASES AND JUST A REVIEW ON SUBMISSION BY THE COURT MEDIA DEPARTMENT. SAME SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED FOR IAS IPS IRS.

Hi I would like to include as In Elcuding area 1. Violence with Women 2. Sexually Harassment Cases has been excluded. These are the requirement of time to be live streamed so that Strict Punishment will be seen by Indians make them aware atleadt not indulge in these shameful acts. Please Include it in Live Streaming so that people dont dare to do such shameful crimes. Marriage failures Divorce Cases should also be part of live streaming so that people don't do cheap things. Please abolish/modify all the laws made of the British, for the British and by the British. It will hurt criminals more, politicians even more and judges the most BUT who will bell the cat. Parliament is supreme and BJP has majority in both the houses. It’s now or never because the vultures are looking for an opportunity to stop all sorts of such efforts.

I think Justice system is influenced by Political parties. And police department totally controlled by influenced people who is sharing power. police are traind and educated in maintaining law and order but a local leader who nothing know about law is guiding whom to arrest whom to book FIR. the worst thing is mob or certain group of people decided and killing some in the name of cow smuggling
