Manthan is a digital platform developed by the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India to promote collaboration at scale between industry and the scientific research and innovation ecosystem to help meet India’s national targets and United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This platform aims to empower various stakeholders to scale up the interactions with researchers/innovators and facilitate R&D/innovation, share challenges focused on emerging technologies, other scientific interventions, as well as those with a social impact.

Office of Principal Scientific Adviser is pleased to launch a competition to pick the minds of all Indians on “Role of Manthan in empowering women entrepreneurs and startups to scale up innovation for a larger social impact”.
The objective of this competition is to capture intriguing insights about how Manthan is making a difference in Scientific research and innovation ecosystem.

This competition is open to all Indian nationals registered with MyGov, age no bar.
Word Limit for the Idea:
• The idea should be within the 500* word limit.
• The idea should not exceed the word limit. This would lead to disqualification.

Last date for submission of the entries will be 30th April 2023.

एक नारी जब अपने भरे पूरे घर को साफ, स्वच्छ, सुंदर व कुशलतापूर्वक चला सकती है, तो एक नारी किसी भी तरह के व्यवसाय को भी कुशलता पूर्वक चला सकती है। बस यह बात हर नारी को समझनी होगी। उन्हें घर की चारदीवारी से बाहर निकल कर व्यापार में आना पड़ेगा और इसके लिए सबसे जरूरी है कि उसके घर के सभी सदस्यों को रूढ़िवादिता से हटकर अपने घर की नारी को आगे बढ़ने और व्यापार करने में सहयोग देना होगा और उस पर पूरा विश्वास करना होगा।

एक नारी जब एक बच्चे को जन्म देती है, तब लगभग 10 हड्डियां टूटने जितना से भी ज्यादा दर्द वह सहन करती है। नारी हमेशा से सशक्त थी, सशक्त है और सशक्त रहेगी। बस हर नारी को यह बात समझनी होगी।

आज की नारी एक सशक्त नारी है। वह घर में घरेलू काम में सशक्त है और घर के बाहर नौकरी में सशक्त है और व्यापार करने में भी सशक्त है। वह ऑटो रिक्शा भी चला सकती है और फाइटर प्लेन भी उड़ा सकती है। आज की भारतीय नारी हर लिहाज से सशक्त है। धन्यवाद।

India has proved with many women personalities in attaining freedom. Many had contributed in all the spheres of our nation's development. Naari Shakthi is boon to the nation with their involvement in providing employment opportunities by establishing from Small Scale to Mega industries. Since the literacy rate has grown healthy, many are well versed with internet and have access to Government Yojanas. We are expecting much more Women Entrepreneurs in Health, Education and Cottage industries to explore innovative Start ups. It is possible with the determination of Hon'ble PM, Shri. Narendra Modi ji. We are optimistic to see a jubilant India with the empowerment of Women. Please create awareness through local volunteers at village level to know the financial support extending by the government agencies.

Even now we can see that women are not allowed to go far and look for opportunities which can help them to grow better and add value to their startups. Many have innovative minds but just need nurturing. Few things can be done to help them. They are as follows:- 1) The candidates who want to participate and get better guidance should fill up a form and in that details like contact, name and purpose should be filled. 2) Some experts name should be mentioned whom they can connect and get their issues solved. The candidates should have liberty to choose the experts. 3)The data should be stored in a Customer Relationship Management System. So the experts would get to read about their problems and contact them on video consultation.
