Working on previous years question papers, motivation to ask doubts, more of practicals etc. will help them. Don't keep asking about scores and marks. Just tell them, "Do your best", that is enough. Memory techniques, writing (because it is like writing in mind, not just reading), reading aloud (for some), keeping tips visibly, etc. are good. Stress happens for the fear of failure. Hence, thorough reading is important. Prioritize with the teacher what is important. Tell, Exam is not the END

Students should come back home and thoroughly study what has been taught in class regularly. Then only students won't be tensed much and they have to just revise the topics on the night before the exams. Parents should not be panicked and discouraging at that time, as there will be a mental pressure on the child. So they should have a light dinner and a sound sleep before the exams. No need of being stressed as it will make the exam difficult inspite of having a good preparation. Best of luck

Being stressful is a personality problem which is not specific to exam alone. Some suggestions: 1) Don't tell them it is a problem; they will become more anxious. 2) Tell them, exam result is not the end of life, and kids are not learning machines; 3) Help them identify an area where they are strong at. 3) Stress-giving parents should be imprisoned, they do a crime out of ignorance. 4) Good sleep, methodical study, concentration, timely food, relaxation, group study, mock exams., continues..

परीक्षा में जाने से पहले अपने माता-पिता से आशीर्वाद अवश्य लेना चाहिए। गाय के दही का सेवन करना चाहिए । बगैर घबराहट के परीक्षा देने से मन एकाग्र रहता है।

Firstly, I would like to mention the fear that many students possess that failing in any one particular exam will deal a big dent in one’s life and that is completely false. For a stress free exam, one must keep this thing in mind that one exam doesn’t judge one’s life. To give an exam stress free, one must have a sound sleep the previous night, stop running through notes during last minutes, have confidence on oneself and one’s preparation and give the best shot. I personally follow this.
