In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Tumakuru a Smart City. The citizen feedback received in Stage 1 and 2 of this Challenge have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and prioritized Area Based Development & PAN City projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

As part of the process for Round 3 Citizen Engagement, Tumakuru City Corporation is inviting everyone related to Tumakuru for your feedback as well as valuable suggestions on the proposal.

8.8% of robbery cases were reported in residential premises. Value of property robbed in residential premises was 11.04 % of the entire property involved in robbery cases .

Frequent buses are available connecting other taluks and towns of the district. Two National Highways and one State Highway pass through the city. They are:

The city buses are also available for transportation within the city by KSRTC. There are more than 100 buses plying in the city.
