Competence of teachers and their motivation is crucial for improving the quality. Several initiatives are being taken for addressing teacher shortages, shortages of secondary school teachers in mathematics, science and languages, improving the quality of pre-service teachers and in-service teachers professional development, enhancing the status of teaching as a profession, improving teachers’ motivation and their accountability for ensuring learning outcomes, and improving the quality of teacher educators. The objective of this theme is to assess the existing scenario and provide workable solutions to address the gamut of issues in teacher education in the school sector.

Please take an initiative to amend the Indian constitution in such a way that all government servants, elected representatives, members of judiciary and any other persons who get any benefit or salary from the state exchequer or public fund should send their children to primary schools run by the state or central government boards.This is the only solution for all problems in education system.No doubt,it enhances quality,commitment and accountability among teachers.

Most of the persons are treating teaching as an employment source and not as a valuable profession which plays the major role in shaping the society. 2. The Teacher Education Colleges are not running with sufficient staff pattern and staff with proper qualifications. Most of the teacher education colleges are being run by the private managements, which see this noble course as their business source.Provide financial benefits same as doctors and engineers. The curriculum should be well designed to honour and respect the teacher and elders. 2. A teacher should always be a learner so provide opportunity to aware latest techniques and methods . 3 A teacher should be student, friendly ,dynamic ,healthy and well learned personality. 4. In the teacher training courses one year internship should be for a period of one year.

teachers council registration should be made mandatory before teaching.teachers should be provided training in classroom management,communication& presentation skills,emotional intelligence,fitness,health & nutrition,coping skills,language & educational technology advances updates and then periodically assessed.only those maintaining physical,mental and good teaching levels should be given pay revision/promotion.Abilities and performance should be criteria for recruitment.free counseling given

If the salaries of teachers are increased 3-4 times then many IITians or MBA degree holder will also show their interest towards the teaching sector,who at present mainly think of UPSC.

शिक्शा की गुणवत्ता और राष्टीय विकास मे अध्यापक का सर्वाधिक यॊगदान हॊता हे, उसकॆ व्यक्तिगत गुण और चरित्र/ शेशिक यॊग्यताऒ पर शिक्शा सम्बन्धी सभी प्रयत्नॊ की सफलता निर्भर हे. अतः अध्यापकॊ कॊ समाज मॆ सम्मानपुर्न स्थान दिया जाना चहियॆ, अध्यापक शिक्शा पर बल दिया जाना चाहियॆ।
