Examination reforms that focus on problem-solving, critical thinking and reasoning skills are critical to improving quality at the secondary level. Such reforms will change the teaching–learning processes and improve learning outcomes. In recent years, CBSE has introduced wide-ranging examination reforms in schools affiliated to it, such as Class X Board Examination has been made optional, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) has been strengthened so that the students, are assessed on an ongoing basis for their holistic development, a system of grading in place of marks has been introduced. The objectives are to look at the existing systems and suggest reforms which would help better assessment of students.

Sir, I,a student of class12 feel very disheartened for my classmates who fail in the exam. And their parents instead of encouraging them for next exam,he become the things of laughter compared to others. But they r talented in other aspects like singing, painting, etc. So,I think the schppl teacher should analyse the answer paper of evry student and admit their faults to do better in upcoming exam. Thanks.

We are in dire need of good teachers. All the good students end up becoming engineers or doctors. People with less academic credibility become school teachers(holds true for atleast school education). There are many who volunteer to teach underprivileged. But the schedule is random and volunteers are not rewarded. We can introduce tax exemptions for tutoring services provided . This way more volunteers will turn up. We can schedule the subjects and people based on skills and reward accordingly.

The CBSE must revert back to its board exams in class 10.Our system is THE best system in the world which has built geniuses like Ramanujam,C.V. Raman,N.C.Bose,Abdul Kalam,Homi Baba. Everyone is fancied by the american education system and want one like it in India. But they fail to realize the fact that a particular crop gives a best yield in a particular soil. It is also the reason why, Indians flourish abroad than any other people. This is actually a way to break our education system by foreign

School exams should be easy,, total marks should be given not only from3 hour exam wht student write... but marking should be on day basis, how student attends class, character , health, hygiene, discipline, attention in class, behabiour to others, class pergormannce, other curricullum activities,, and education system should not be complicated,, its simple system.... i thinks 365 days examination is better for evaluation than 3 hour system

Is the need of hour, by making it to be professionally orientated . This is possible by utilizing the services of retired person from different walks of life as pension to retired person is the part of GDP. The retired person can add a lot to young minds for choosing their career , then this will go a long way to our education system and our universities will find place in the top performing universities , specially in the area of research enabling us to save a lot in technology transfer..

There must be an examination system for all students after class V since CCE has failed to achieve the desired changes which were expected by Educationist at the time of implementation.Actually students finds changes when they enters in class XI.Afew of them could not adjusts themselves in new system and fails. This CCE could not bring changes in the educational system. Most of Schools and teachers could not adopt CCE in a real sense, that's why this system may not progress as desired by the Ed.
