In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

(REGISTER THE SPECIFIC NUMBER OF CURRENCY IN ONLINE AND NO ONE CAN INTERCHANGE THE CURRENCY WITH OUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOVERNMENT) IT MAY BE SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE BUT EACH AND EVERY CITIZEN HAVE THEIR "ADHAR NUMBER" CONVERT THAT CARD INTO ATM CARD AND THE DETAILS OF CURRENCY EXCHANGE IS AUTOMATICALLY REGISTERED . ITS NOT NECESSARY TO SEE EACH AND EVERY CURRENCY OF THE PEOPLE JUST WHEN THE PEOPLE HAVE THE INCOME MORE THAN THE POVERTY LINE SHOULD REGISTER AND SHOULD HAVE CARD.

When there are arrears with respect to payment of statutory dues, the bank accounts of individuals are attached. The same can be encouraged for arrears with one bank for the monies in the same name in another bank

As anyway Aadhar has to be linked on all accounts, the person who is having NPA in one bank will be enjoying his salary or business income through some other bank. This can be linked to his CIBIL report. This will help the banks to reduce NPA As gas connection is linked to Aadhar, When there is a change in address, The records of aadhar with respect to address should get automatically changed along with his voter ID.

we alone can't fight this disease of our country. but if every indian try then we can. the technology we r talking about is only cameras, cctvs etc but we never noticed that all the offices have cctvs. so to stop the corruption we must first make a unit in all the regions and then tell them to monitor all the MMS . Now let me tell you why MMS because if we will announce a prize against each video of corrupted officer. then people will surely start supporting . immediate actions to be taken.

A high tech network of CC TV Cameras on all public places can inform the victims and criminals position. I think it will reduce rate of crime and also identify real criminals and their locations.
