Our school level education should be applied and practical based. Our research theme should be fundamental and innovative.UGC,CSIR and others should make a strict rule that research guide must publish research paper in minimum of one international and two Indian journal per year.Govt should release good research institute from extra pressure as like other non research courses (B.Sc,M.Sc). Funding may come from clinical research. Unused area of research institute also may use for some project.

I hope the major draw back of Indian schools is lack of laboratories and proper infrastructure. Our schools never bother about learning in the real sense that is learning through experiments and results. Generally many of us were thought to mug up the questions and produce them in the exams. Due to this we lack creativity and we cant expose our intelligence. So in my view research and innovation should be promoted in the school level itself.

Give students assured jobs after their Phd in some research labs or as a faculty in government colleges according to their profile. While providing the assured jobs, the entrance in Phd and final thesis submission should be tough. This will change the vision of youngster to do Phd and enhance their thoughts about research and innovation.

Research activities in medical sectors are very limited.Frankly speaking, there is no such urgency shown by both the govt n doctors in involving research activities in govt medical colleges... India is going to be a hub for diabetes and cancer in coming years n India should show it's interest in research activities related to these kind of diseases... Govt should aim for setting up medical college n hospital n research centre instead of medical college n hospital to promote research activities

A&N islands is an integral part of India. unfortunately very few people know about this union territory. Sorry to say but it is just neglected part of India. Common Indian is hardly aware about this UT. Even media also does not pay attention to this area. For instance every tv channel periodically displays weather repor
