India's culture is based in Vedas, Ramayana/Bharata and other literary works. Adequate importance should be given to promote these values. Currently, a lot of meaningful lessons are replaced by less-effective modern stories which lack Dharmik footing. All this is happening in the name of 'secularism'. It is important that we teach our children and youth to respect all religions on equal footing. So syllabus should reflect this cultural xchange. Mother tongue & Sanskrit should be brought back.
