It should be made compulsory for doctors to write only salts of the medicines and that too in Capital Letters so that we can purchase medicine of any brand of our choice.

Presently CGHS beneficiary (existing employee) has to visit the CGHS dispensary first. The MO/CMO then refers patient to empaneled hospitals for consultation. During consultation if specialist doctor suggests some pathological / diagnostic tests, then, he to visit the dispensary again for approval. He has to pay for consultation/tests/medicines etc. though CGHS rates. and then, claim for reimbursement. Really a cumbersome process. So, I suggest to make CGHS cashless for existing employess also.
