There are many resources online for selling electronics that still work: craigslist, eBay, Usell, Gazelle, ecoatm, iReTron, and Glyde, to name but a few. Calling your local Goodwill or secondhand shop is another alternative; you may be surprised what they accept. Do you have an old cell phone to donate? Give cellphonesforsoldiers.com a look or sellmycellphones.com. Search your area for a local schools, charities, or organizations that may want your old electronics.

1.We should train high school students to recycle the e-waste (Compatible to house hold purpose) to convert their generated waste to energy conserved to their purpose(Ex:Solar plant ,Rain water harvesting).
2.if the e-waste remains there it should be collected to ensure safe for public and recycled to any other needy sectors.
Advantages
1.Students will be engaged to use the technology and they can spend the time in useful time.
2.Those who recycle the mini will.

Did you know that in 2009, discarded electronics such as cell phones, TVs, computers, scanners, fax machines, and keyboards, among others, amounted to 2.37 million tons of electronic waste?
Many retailers across the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam have programs where you can drop off or mail in your used mobile phones. By recycling your used phone, you’ll be also protecting the environment and preventing precious resources from reaching your local landfill.
