Higher education cannot sustain only through public funding. While public private partnerships in higher education have been pursued as a strategy, not many have shown successful results. Hence, the PPP models need to be revisited so as to allow more meaningful collaborations. A critical analysis of PPP in HE , the existing legal provisions and which viable models are possible need to carried out.

Politicians in the past 7 decades very thoughtfully and intelligently made sure that India remains LARGELY illiterate, so that vote bank politics can be easily implemented -- ALL POLITICAL PARTIES ARE GUILTY OF THIS CRIME AGAINST THE NATION. WE WANT TO BE COMPARED WITH CHINA WHOSE ECONOMY IS 5 X OURS, BUT IGNORE THE FACT THAT OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM IS WORST THAN MANY OF EAST ASIAN COUNTRIES !!! WHAT A HOLLOW AND BLOATED EGO WE INDIANS HAVE.

Why did Govt of India stop establishing Teaching Hospitals/ Colleges in 1954 and invited private sector to milk the country by charging high fees for MBBS degrees? Because most private colleges were owned by corrupt Politicians. Government must show Guts to break this Nexus of Powerful Politicians who have hijacked the entire heath care of our country. Government alone must open Teaching Hospitals and root out corruption in this field. This sector should be brought on par with Security of India.

It is wrong for Govt to think that public funding of Higher Education is a burden. A comprehensive and sustained policy towards a Nations Greatness is impossible without investment in Higher Education. Look at South Korea, Japan and China - how they are reaping benefits of investments in Higher Education. In today's India Private Sector, with corrupt Politicians and Bureaucrats, only makes quick money giving SUB STANDARD EDUCATION in BE MBBS degrees but do not have any RESEARCH capability.

Competitive board and other results are out. Students are now struggling, confused in choosing the stream. They need proper counselling so that they can choose stream of their choice. Students also have no idea about scholarships which are awarded on merit basis. Seeing all this situation and also have gone through this situation, today I would like to share an plan which will resolve various problem. A country can succeed in any sector via education only. So find the attached file

Regarding private schools increasing fees arbitrarily, a basket of private schools' expenses, by the education dept, could be created for each school (i.e. teachers salaries, infrastructure maintainace, transportation etc) similar to a WPI (Wholesale Price Index) and the school fees be linked to the same in percentage terms. If School Expense Index increases , so does the fees at the start of the academic session, if decreases , so does the fees :)

Dear PM, it is better if you personally look into every land acquisition case if the land acquired is just and good purpose. Besides, take opinion poll in every area or district about certain project to be done and land aquired, if people of that area or district approve it. I f they approve it go on with it. If they don't then stop it, it is them who will lose longterm. Each area people have each kind of mindset, so dont go with a single way to do land acquisition country-wide,it gives bad name

I have been fighting with management of Presidium Schools in Delhi & NCR who are using unethical means to extort and make huge money in disguise of the present School Education Act. Together I have a group of 2000 parents who want to come forward and open a chain of Charitable Public Schools who follow ethical practice for imparting quality education. Need help from the government for grant of Land and financing for building the infrastructure.
