Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. We hereby request you to provide us your valuable insights and suggestions on the proposal.

Garbage to be cleaned. Traffic should be maintained. Roads connecting to Kalyan railway station should be widen. Hospitals of KDMC should be maintained with proper, modern health machinaries. sonography dept.to be maintained.

Dear Sir, Please clean Railway station area,there should be trafiff police 24/7 and give him authority to punish the person who spit on the road.Plantation must be done. The implementation of one way traffic in some areas. S.T stand n Bhajimandai should be shiffted elsewhere. boss u must have to clean railway station area n flyover first. You are a great commssioner we got by luck so please do this city as clean as possible. No Parking on road side.

Its good that the KDMC has taught about this proposal of Smart City. First and foremost the roads overall has to be kept properly maintained, with the road side gutters, which should be closed, street lights ,cleaning of garbages on the main roads, and the internal roads, the toilet facility to be provided near the bus stop and railways stations in case of emergency for the public at large , which should be kept clean, the hospitals of the municipal corporation to be properly maintained.

All residential societies to be made compulsory to fit rainwater harvesting systems and solar system for pumping and street lights in society. All streetlights in the city to be made solar. City should have sewage water and effluent treatment plat to established.
