Karimnagar city in the state of Telangana has been selected by Government of India (GoI) to participate and prepare a Smart City Proposal (SCP) under the flagship programme - Smart City Mission (SCM).
The Smart City Proposal should capture aspirations of the citizens about Karimnagar and their inputs for formulating a vision statement and strategies for the development of city.
In this regard, Municipal Corporation Karimnagar requests its citizens and other stakeholders to come forward and share their views to make Karimnagar a Smart City.
The last date to submit comments is 30 November, 2016.

#smartcity #mygov #karimnagar #moudThe buildings,parks or anything being constructed must reflect the rich culture and history of the place.The walls of the city must be painted depicting the history.The roads must be made of solar blocks(http://solarroadways.com/) which tap the solar energy and can be used.All the wires must be laid underground and all the open drains and canals must be closed which prevents the breeding of mosquitoes.the roads must have holes for water to seep into the GROUND

Hi mygov I impressed from this app through this from all over India can share there ideas over development and we discussed,solve the problem, and get more ideas. In that the scheme of creating 100 smart cities will face India's future economy. We will create a city based on single thought eg karimnagar is not suitable for manufacturing hub so here we have to create city based financial sector for telangana. Connecting Hyderabad with a that and making IT sector

water fountain, clock tower, big trees lined street(Avenues) should be part of plan.limit population density!

Integrate transport, market(bazaar for farmers),crafts venue & education centres. Popularise Karimnagar Polytechnic and take up industry related courses..Diploma courses give better job potential.

Instead of declaring new smart cities. We should make development of the cities which are already declared. we can take take the example of mumbai,every day 10-15 people dies just because of the rush in local trains.
