Firstly, we have to develop infrastructure and manufacturing facility of electronic components, such as chips of ICs, condensers and similar components essential for any electronic circuit. As of now we didn't have had any such facility where we can manufacture quality products challenging Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc. competitors. As we developed indigenous technology in the field of space exploration and also by extending the same to the other countries and earning valuable revenue.

One of the advantage of no infrastructure related to chip manufacturing is that, we can start to invest in latest tech. The internet of things is the next big thing for electronics because it connects software and any kind of hardware. So this can be our advantage as we do not have the baggage of the legacy electronics manufacturing infra. We should focus on the latest tech in sectors like healthcare, offline payments, energy saving using tech.
Alsoinvesting in solar energy research will pay us.

Not only electronics, all engineering business is passing through worst ever crisis...market is so dull and needs immediate revamping. Let Govt.of India encourage putting up manufacturing facilities in electronics field like Solar, Wind Energy, Consumer Electronic items like Cellphones, computer components, home appliances. Also invite MNC majors like Sony to put up mfg units in India instead of China.

Even till date our country is not able to manufacture the semiconductor chips, displays etc. used in mobile phones and other electronic gadgets. Everyday hundreds of gadgets that are sold in India have in their heart - chips, circuits and displays imported. Even countries like Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia manufacture chips and gadgets. Govt should set up a design and manufacturing hub comprising of MSEM to mfr. chips, etc. and entire manufacturing to compete in the open market.

1. students should be given latest and practical knowledge of Electornics hardware and Software. Current Education does now empower student for basic knowledge of electronics.
2. reliable certification required for skilled labor for electronics manufacturing. huge manpower of skilled labor can be used by giving practical knowledge to women employee.
3. consumer should be encouraged to buy made in India electronics products by motivational/patriotic advertising.
