The Government has reviewed the existing draft National Youth Policy, 2014 and prepared a new draft National Youth Policy (NYP). The draft NYP envisages a ten - year vision for youth development that India seeks to achieve by 2030. It is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves to 'unlock the potential of the youth to advance India'.

The draft NYP seek to catalyze widespread action on youth development across five priority areas viz. education; employment & entrepreneurship: youth leadership & development; health, fitness & sports; and social justice. Each priority area is underpinned by the principle of social inclusion keeping in view the interests of the marginalized sections.

The Department of Youth Affairs seek comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy (PDF 1.23 MB)

The last date to share your ideas and suggestions is 15th July, 2022.

If china ,Japan ,Korea , Russia like country read everything in their language, why we read everything in english.japan, china, kora like country they read higher education like engeneering to medical everything in their own language. Even in parliament to minster level they are very comfortable with their language .so india should focus on education system in our own state language. 2 nd ly ,change the syllabus, topic in history, geography book. 3rd ly in school level focus more on extra curriculum, exercise, gym, swimming etc ,so that new youth will be more smarter. Till now computer education is unknown to many youth, govt should focus on that. Lastly, many ITI, medical and other dynamic sector students are trying their luck of throne in iAs ,ips like post, so that society will loose many dynamic personality in their respective sector. Govt make some rule for those ITI,medical (ias, ips aspirant, ) so that make in India will progress.

Let education be an informative process, rather than competitive. let all children have an opportunity to choose their passion as their profession, from highschool itself, rather than being forced to learn. Encourage the children to be with, to learn and to protect nature, by inculcating that culture in them through activities and not through text alone. Let them reduce their screen -time with TV, mobile, laptop etc that they do not get addicted. That the future generation is mentally good.
