One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

I feel the draft guidelines for determination of Place of Effective Management of Companies have gone in a direction where they were not intended to go. They are curtailing Indian entrepreneurship rather than promoting it. Please see my suggestion attached in PDF file for ease of reading.

Most of the business is done with transactions in cash, which ultimately leads to black money. Banks are charging around 4% transaction charges on credit card and debit card transactions. Also on petrol pumps banks charge around 4%-5% on the name of fuel surcharge. I believe we should try to bring every Rupee spent through banking system and encourage electronic money. We must eradicate these TXN charges.

Change the rules and regulations language to speak the common language. People do not understand the language and hence are always carry a feeling of 'I must be doing something wrong.' And because of this common man always fears the taxcollectors and the obvious next thing is starts hiding information. ( Just like what a kid does with his parents when he/she gets scolded.)

In India only 3 percent people are currently paying income tax. This is an extremely unfair burden on the existing IT payers. Almost no one around me in my society pays income tax though many of them are making more money. Please abolish all the income tax and come up with different tax regime so that everyone is fairly taxed and tax burden is shared fairly across everyone. The current income tax regime is based on western countries, which unlike India, are more law abiding countries.

If it is considered that, each and every people to grow and to march with the national growth, some space of relaxation in I T payments may be relaxed or waived, so that, they can sustain with the national growth and their earnings match with the inflation, if any, and reducing interest rates for the retired persons. I T payment norms may be eased for the retired person and it is expected that 1%.0 additional interests to be considered, instead of existing percentages, as laid down by banks.

Persons retired from other than Government Organisations, are entitled for a very low pension amount, this can't give squire meals for their family member in high growth country. Other earning from their superannuated fund, which has accumulated throughout service period. If they are to pay even 10% on their interest earnings, it becomes difficult task. I would like to request to abolish payment of I T to such persons, earning interest less than 3.0 lakh p.a. I.T payments may kindly be waived.
